List page not refreshing after new record D365fo

Hi Everyone

Im new to d365 and need some guidance. We are working on a custom requirement and noticed that the List page is not refreshed or not showing the newly created record without a manual refresh..From list page new button,we create a new record .After filling details and clicking create button,details page opens where additional information is added and saved.Now when we navigate back to list page then newly created record doesn't display unless a refresh

Could you guide how to achieve this.

Hi,

In case you create a method with a datasource refresh on the list page form, you can call this method after a record is created from the creation form you opened. I created a small example in the past. At this moment, I can only find quickly a project with an example for AX2012. I have attached this example.

Hi,

you can refresh the caller form (list page) in the close method of the creation form

FormRun callerForm; callerForm = element.args().caller(); //caller form callerForm.dataSource().reread(); callerForm.dataSource().research(true);

Thanks for the information.I was trying to it at the details page instead of create form which didn't work
