You don't have permissions to create folder in this location. Contact your Microsoft Teams owner or SharePoint administrator for access.

Hi everyone,

I have attempted to integrate Sharepoint to my D365 app.

I have added a custom location for files to be made using a flow. However, I get the error "You don't have permissions to create folder in this location. Contact your Microsoft Teams owner or SharePoint administrator for access." when accessing the documents tab.

I do have access to these folders and the folder is created in the correct place.

I assume that it is because the URL's fail when validating them:

But when I click the URL's it goes to the correct folder on sharepoint so they do exist?

Any idea's why this is ?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Manoj,

I am System admin so i have all the right access. I double checked just in case.

Thanks for sending the guides over but I wasn't able to find the issue still.

My sites won't validate. The high level site validates but when going into folders and our folder structure thats when it fails.

    This has succeeded.

But the "Shared Documents" folder has failed. I tried the url with a space and with "%20" to replace the space but both don't work.

Here's my settings for my "Home" and "Share Docs" sites.

This is the url when viewing the shared documents folder in sharepoint: XXXXX.sharepoint.com/.../AllItems.aspx7

I don't see why it won't validate or give me permission to create folders. When testing it and going into the documents tab on my model driven app the error message comes up, but I am able to click "Open Location" and the link takes me to the correct folder on sharepoint.

I've found the issue! I was making my folder locations in my sharepoint sites. I made the folder locations in my sharepoint document locations and it looks like it's working! Phew!
