Position Worker Assignment - Power Automate - Not visible on the Worker form

Hi,

I am extending Position Worker Assignment table with field Project. I created custom table Projects, added Power App where I create new Project for selected Worker.

I want also to add this information as new Position Worker Assignment record (using Power Automate), that would be visible on Workers Position Worker Assignment list, with relation to new Position Work on Projects

When I run flow, new record is created and I see it on the list of Position Worker Assignment records (through Dataverse) but I do not see it on Workers record.

Can someone help me with this.

Hi zzecevic,

The custom table is not a part of Dynamics 365 HR. You can create a custom field in the Position worker assignment table and exposed that field to the dataverse. You can add your logic to the newly created custom field and It will reflect back to Dynamics 365 HR.

Hi Parag,

I am trying to create OOB record for Position Worker Assignment (I created custom field Project that is filled with Project Name). Problem is that I see created Position Worker Assignment record on the list through PowerAutomate - Tables - Position Worker Assignment Data (Worker Id relation is ok and Position id is ok), but I don't see it on related Workers card Position Worker Assignments.

I removed custom field, but the problem is the same. Position Worker Assignment created through Power Automate is not visible on Workers record, only on list of all Position Worker Assignment records.

Adding record to position worker assignment is a bit tricky as there are some dependent tables. If you're creating a new position then you have to also update Job Position for example. Also check that the Dataverse integration is turned on docs.microsoft.com/.../hr-admin-integration-common-data-service . Ensure the dataverse sync batch jobs are running with high frequency also
