We are looking at using Asset Leasing to manage our IFRS 16 Leases.
Some of our property leases have subleases (rent receivable) that are recognised as negative leases (offset against the lease liability and ROU asset).
D365 allows us to create schedules for a lease using negative payment schedule lines which creates negative ROU asset and lease liability balances. However when an adjustment is made for CPI increases to the rent revenue, the system forces the ROU asset to nil.
Is there any way to adjust these negative leases without the ROU asset revaluing to nil? We want it to function the same as an adjustment to a positive lease.
