Costing versions Activation date usefulness

Hi,

As I saw in previous posts, the "activation date" field in pending cost versions, is not used to fill the "activation date" in active cost versions.

So 2 questions : what is the usefulness/goal of this date in the pending cost versions ?

what is the usefulness/goal of this date in the active cost versions ? Just an information to remember when we activated that price ?

Thanks for your help

    Hi Lionel VRAC,

One reason or usage is the price history that you mentioned. In addition, you have the possibility to compare prices. For standard cost prices it is mandatory to activate the prices.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
