Can anyone suggest me that what is the use of Accounting Distribution functionality in GL parameters

Hi,
This parameter allows you defining from where the financial dimensions of a subledger document is taken.
Example:
You have a free text invoice and in the header cost center 100 is specified.
In your free text invoice lines cost center 200 is specified.
Now the question is, which account is used for the posting on the customer summary account.
If you Chose Accounting distributions cost Center 200 is used
if you Chose source document cost Center 100 is used
Please note that this affects no Journals, such as the invoice Journal but only those documents that make use of the subledger Framework, such as free text invoices, sales invoices, etc.
