I have read this post, however I can not translate Core Apps some captions to Jappanses.

Is it possible to translate some Core Apps on SaaS sandbaox by xliff file? If possible, let me know procedurs of that.

Thanks all!,
This is a retales of my question.
I found large /Base%20Application.g.xlf/ file after downlorded symboles from my Sandbox.
The I created this small /Base Application.ja-JP.xlf/ file below which  <target state=/translated/>...... </Target> were added only shipment method and locate this file in the project Translation folder.

And I deleted default /ALProjectTransJPN.g.xlf/ file, so I found app.jsom errors below.

What should I do?

Hi, this does not need to be set since BC17, but if you are using a version before BC17, you still need to set it.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Hi, yes, this part is included in Base Application.xlf. There is a little trick, you can use Object type + name to extract the part that needs to be translated.
    For example, Customer List page:

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Sorry I may not have fully understood your question, you meant that the content in the standard translation file is incomplete?
This is a huge problem when creating native translation packages. Because the Base Application does not include translation content for other extensions.
For example, some of the following apps:
If you need their translation files, some can be found in the On-Pre installation package (You can also download it in Docker). If you complete this part of the translation, it already covers 95%.
    For exmaple,
    ~Dynamics.365.BC.15715.W1.DVD 23.4\Applications\BankDeposits\Source\_Exclude_Bank Deposits.Source.zip\Translations
It is recommended not to pursue the remaining part. . . . .

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

    Hello,

If you're trying to translate captions in core standard apps (e.g Microsoft's base or system applications) to Japanese, you can use xliff method by following the zhu's blog.. the xliff works for both your custom and standard apps..
but note that it can only translate the user interface elements... translating system level captions may not be possible.. if you share the specific caption of your custom app or system app that you're having trouble with, I can provide more you more details if cannot be translated or not..

    Best regards,
    Govinda Kumar
