Posting setup: posting to a contra account

Dear guys,
 
is there any way in dynamics 365 Finance to post to a contra account?
 
in the following screen:
 
 
 
I have a requirement to post to a single expense account, so that:
 * expenses are posted normally.
 * profits are posted to the same account in negative sign.

    Can you provide some examples about the expected behavior and what ledger transactions should be created for each of the scenarios?

    for example:
     normal scenario:
     
    a loss on inventory adjustment
    Other Expenses             Dr    100
       inventory (asset)             Cr      100
     
     
     
    profit (positive adjustment to inventory)
    Inventory (asset)            Dr      100
         Other expenses           Cr        100              <----- instead of revenue account, here the expense is credited [contra expense]

    Hi Ahmed,
     
    I asked for an example as I didn't understand what exactly you need. I think to understand you want to link the Other expenses account to the type Inventory expenditure, profit. This is possible. You can setup this same account on both the loss and profit posting type.
