Field Service Signature Compliance and How to use.

Hello all.

According to pdf document available on this page: Food and Drug Administration CFR Title 21 Part 11 - Microsoft Compliance | Microsoft Docs Dynamics 365 including Field Service module, is compliant to the Part 11 of CFR.

This means that Field Service should be able to work with signatures as it is described in the document, including the signing procedure, certificate/client secret generation, etc., however I was not able to find any place in my instance to enable and/or set it all up.
Search always gives the tutorials to add the "Pen Input" control to the form to be used in Mobile/Web app, or shows examples from Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations module, which
1) is not included in my setup as our company does not need it,
2) does not provide functionality for signing on client site.

Is there any tutorial or document that gives full information on how to create a CFR compliant flow of work within the Field Service or Dynamics infrastructure.

Thanks in advance!

    Hello Thomas,

    Thank you for the reply.

The example from the link is strictly related to a concrete type of activity, and does not show how to set up the signature itself.

In my case I need to sign the entity itself (as an example by using Pen Control) and not only in case of the reporting, but I don't know if this type of signature is compliant with CFR part 11 or not.

It is really important to me to have that compliance, so I need a guide/documentation that would spread some light on this :)

Did you implment this?  Did you find the electronic signature was good enough for compliance?
