Hi All,

I'm hoping someone can help with this as I'm stumped.

I've built an interactive dashboard and current have the time Frame set for this quarter. I'd actually like to have a specific custom time frame as default (for example start as 1/1/2017 end today

Has anyone got a way of doing this?

Many Thanks In Advance

Mark

    That does sound useful!

    This is not possible currently.

I am sorry but currently, there is no way to set the default time frame filter value to Custom Time Frame.

The only workaround solution would be

    - create a custom date field

    - create a scheduled flow which runs overnight to populate the custom date field

    - set the default Time Frame as Last quarter

    - design flow to update the custom field of the records earlier than last quarter (e.g. records between 1/1/2017 - 31/12/2019) to the date within the last quarter (e.g. 1/1/2020)

Thank you Linn I'll give that a try as it makes sense as a work around.

    Hello,

This is unfortunately not possible to remove or customize further the timeframe filters.

Please upvote this feature request so maybe it will become possible on day without nasty workarounds:

Linn Zaw Win's suggestion is very good.

If you want the Dashboard just to show EVERYTHING by default you can:
    - create the custom date only field as a CALCULATED COLUMN
    - for the calculation, in the Action set it to NOW()
This will essentially make that custom date field equal the Today's date for every row in the table
     - in the Dashboard set the global date filter to that new date column and default it to Today
