You screenshot shows a lookup of JournalNum field. Does it mean that you want to filter records in the lookup form ands not in the grid of Payment journal form?

yes it's a lookup field but I want when i click on check box button then show only posted record that mention in image or blue circle.

    Thank's Martin Drab for response.

You won't do anything when the checkbox is ticked, because that's not when the lookup is shown. What you need to do is adding a query range when building the lookup. If you aren't familiar with lookups, look at How to: Add a Lookup Form to a Control, and notice how they added the range for CustGroup field.

I am familiar with lookup, but I want when I click on check box then relevant JBN number linked with checked/Posted that shown or unchecked JBN not show.

    Thanks

It's difficult to guess that you already know and what you're struggling with if you just describe the whole scenario and don't ask questions.

If you know that you must modify the lookup and you know how to use query range, then what exactly you need? Are you saying that you are actually unable to design the righ database query? If so, you should have told us!

Unforunately it's not clear to me what you mean by "relevant JBN number linked with checked/Posted that shown". Please elaborate.

If I'm not wrong, you have records(dataSource) at the form and When you click (the new unbound checkBox), you want saw filtered records.

Then, you can add a range to form datasource. You can add range at Ds.executeQuery (before super) but you must call executeQuery from checkbox (you can call it fromm clicked or modified)

Just dont forgot executeQuery can be called from other methods so you must manage your range (use findOrCreateRange and clearRange)
