Bulk-Distribute TASKS to multiple users, related to multiple accounts

Hi everyone,

I am struggling with figuring out how to best distribute tasks that have to do with multiple accounts, and need to be assigned to multiple users.

Example:
I have 100 accounts that ALL need to be touched upon/visited 3 times over the next 6 months.
I want to assign these meetings as open, unscheduled meetings to internal sales personnel.

Each account should have 1 Sales-person schedule and complete the 3 meetings.
The sales person is NOT the owner of the account.
It matters WHO is assigned to a specific account.

How do I go about creating 3 meetings for 100 different accounts and split those tasks between perhaps 20 people?

Marketing Lists & Campaigns does not let me create TASKS.
If i create appointments in a Campaign with a connected marketing list, a meeting invitation is automatically sent out, for some weird reason.
I can create a task and assign it to a campaign, but it has no identifier as to who should handle it, or which account it should be regarding.

Any inputs are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Thomas

    Hi TRedder,

You could try the Playbook feature.

First refer to these documents to learn how to create a Playbook.

    1. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/sales-enterprise/define-playbook-categories
    2. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/sales-enterprise/launch-playbook
    3. https://community.dynamics.com/crm/b/crminogic/posts/use-playbooks-in-dynamics-365-ce

Create a Playbook for Account, add 3 appointments. Set their Relative start date to 0 and Relative end date to 180. This means these 3 appointments need to be completed within 6 months.

Then upload the Sales-person schedule as file of appointments, or upload it as Account file.

    Launch Playbook for Accounts.

Open the Playbooks tab on Account form, select the Playbook, assign it to the salesperson.
