Hi Experts,

I am new to CRM can you please anyone help me how to work on below scenario.

I Have an "X" Entity in that i have a team lookup name as "Internal Team viewer". Now, when i create a new record,  the form consists of tabs called general, items, client.

The 'X' entity has 1:n relationships for items, and client.

Now, if i create a record, it will share to the team people who is in "Internal Team viewer". and now my task is that record must cascaste to items, client as well.

can you please tell me how to achieve? and approach?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi .

To achieve this in my understanding you should do this:

    1. When you create a new record on you entity 'X' the easies way to give the permission to see to a team/groups of people it's to assign the records to the team that the system users belongs to. This avoid the need of any other configuration or custom code to share the records with multiple member's team. You can find additional information here Use access teams and owner teams to collaborate and share information
    2. If for some reason you can't use team owners for those "X" records hence the task could be a little bit harder. In order to avoid the custom code and development you can try to use WF to automatize the "share" action. Pleas take a look into this thread were a similar action was asked Sharing records through Workflow

The approach her is how to manage the "parent record" to share it with your team. Because once you already share the parent record (entity X) the child records, because the default relationship behavior automatically will cascade the same permission to related records (items, clients).

    Hope this can help you.
