Customer Balance Shows Decimal Amount Even if all Transactions are Already Settled

Hi D365 Experts,
 
We have a customer whose payment was in USD but the invoice is in SAR (exchange rate USD 1 = SAR 3.75). When we make settle transactions, the customer account shows no open transactions but there is a -0.01 in the customer balance tab.
 
How can we solve this issue? This is causing our Customer Aging Report to be NOT EQUAL with the TRIAL BALANCE amount.

    After you fully settle, it is not possible to have balance. Thıs can be a bug or happens for a customızatıon.

    Thank you for your response.
     
    This issue has been recurring since 2018. We were just ignoring it since the difference is considered immaterial. But over the years, it has accumulated to CU 1.00.
     
    Our expectation is that the 0.01 variance will automatically be posted to penny difference which we set at 0.60 at max. Unfortunately, this is not what happens. It does settle the transactions but leaving an invisible +/-0.01 customer balance.
     
    If it is a bug, I was wondering why Microsoft was not able to fix it in the last 7 years we've been using the system.
     
    As for the customization, can you elaborate or provide an example? I am not sure I am able to follow on this.
