How can we get a proper price list for a customer using Dynamics NAV/BC?

Has there been any advance since?
In the current era where e-commerce is essential, seems we have no easy way to enable a web service that returns a price list give a customer and some products. Add quantities and discounts to the equation and the task is much more complicated.
Any ideas?
