Hi,
I am trying to add a sub-role to a custom role, but I get the following error:
Any suggestion for how I can solve this issue?
It seems like the role is already added to your custom role, perhaps through another subrole reference.
No, "Self-service employee" does not have any parent roles. Neither is it assigned to any users, so that is not the problem
Can you share details about the configuration you have made?
Preferably screenshots showing the relations.
I have only seen this error in relation to scenarios where the same role is referenced more than once through subrole assignments.
This is the role I am trying to add a sub-role to. The "Company name Employee" role is a sub-role for every other company role.
I tested, and I am actually not able to add any sub-role to this role. I receive the same error-message when I try to add any sub-role...
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
Can you show which parent roles this employee role is assigned to?
It could be a circular reference between the parent roles, where one parent role is used as a subrole in another parent role as well.

I do see two roles related to a third-party product Exflow. Have you checked the contents of those roles?
