    Hi NavTech,

Yes, you can follow the proceduce:

    1. Create new database file.

    2. Import all objects.

    3. Restore application data and companies data.

    4. Check login.

    Hi NavTech,

How long had you been waiting? What is the size of your backup files?

Increase Object Cache (KB) and DBMS Cache (KB) may be helpful.

It normally take some time. Sometimes it shows you it hangs up but in the background it is working. And make sure you do not do any other work in the server or the computer you are restoring the backup. Do not even click any other window. Let it run for sometime and check.

This happens if the backup size is more than 15 GB (My personal experience).

Easiest way is to take a SQL backup and restore it. Fast and easy.

Try stopping the backup when you get to the key creation stage.

Then go back and restore the database again.  The restoration should then carry on creating the keys.

    Cheers

    Chris
