Security role for display customized reports

Hi,

i create some report in ax-12 in receivable module, all customized reports show at the time of administrative right but as i withdraw the right of administrative all customized report not showing in reports

please tell me how i can create a role only for customized reports

if the customized role assign to user, user able to view the report is it possible?

Create New Privilege and Add Your Report Menu Item On Privilege.

Hi Rana,

Only a privilege is not enough. Have a look at this page first:

technet.microsoft.com/.../gg731787.aspx

As a conclusion:

- You need to add the output menu item on a new or existing privilege.

If you did it on an existing some roles will have the report available (depends which privilege and duties used)

otherwise if a new privilege is used:

- Link the report on an existing duty or create a new duty (optional see next).

The new duty or the privilege can be linked on one or more roles. It is best practice to prevent use of direct privileges on a role.

Hi Rana,

I have got Same Problem, So i created a New Privilage ---> Entry Point ----> Drag and Drop the Desire Report which You have Made.

And in Duties add the Privilage to the Name.

then assign the User.

You Will get the Customized Reports in the User level

Any update , i have same problem

i created a new report and add the menu item to SecurityPrivileges--> EntryPoint

and give user permission to ssrs web in site settings and Ax folder

but when opened the report the next error is displayed

For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors

You can enable remote error from Sql advanced prpoerties for your instance to see more details about this error.

This error is very generic

after i added it , everything working fine now
