Process recurring invoices - generation date

Hi All,

when processing the recurring free text invoices, I receive following error:

"You cannot create an invoice with an invoice date that is later than the end date specified for the recurring invoice. Please check the recurring invoice setup to ensure the end date is configured correctly."

Question: should the "generation date" be at least the same date as "invoice date" or is there any special setup in the customer recurring invoices setup that I should maintain differently?

Generation date should be equal or greater then invoice date, also why do you want generation date to be different from Invoice date? If you see the setup in your second screenshot , system gives the expected generation date
