    RE: Learn Code Unit

As other members pointed out, you would need to learn C/AL programming language in order to operate with codeunits (however not only codeunits, as it is used also in other NAV types of objects).

    Start with referring to MSDN:

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd338869.aspx

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd355277.aspx

Support your learning with good books (I'd recommend purchasing them on E-Book stores).

Watch videos and tutorials, such as www.youtube.com/watch

Use C/AL Coding Guidelines available here: community.dynamics.com/.../156.3-cal-coding-guidelines

Finally, do the real work by participating in some project and have a good mentor to teach you in that process.

    RE: Learn Code Unit

    Hello Rakesh,

The best way to learn C/AL Programming and #Codeunit is by taking up a small project. You can find most of the codes on the internet(link provided by other members in comment section). If you get stuck somewhere then you can always post questions here. Most of the time you just need to follow step wise manuals and within a couple of weeks you can get some hands on experience on the topic...

    Hello Rakesh,

As per earlier suggestions many Books for NAV 2013.

If you don't want to purchase, then better to go through MSDN.

Visit the bellow link and keep practicing, Practicing is only the way you can learn.

    Hi,

You want to learn coding or you need the index of all codeunits?

If you want learn coding, there are so much resources on the web. The langauge is called as C/AL.

    eBook:

    http://goo.gl/pKiFWu

    www.olofsimren.com/.../NAV-CAL-Programming-Guide-for-Microsoft-Dynamics-NAV.pdf

    gotcal.com/.../CALProgrammingGuide.pdf

    gotcal.com/.../w1w1adg.pdf

    Online:

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd301468(v=nav.70).aspx

Or if you need any tool to see all the Codeunits and how it is used, you can use something like Prism: forum.mibuso.com/.../statical-prism-2-0-0-community-edition-ce
