Does your web application provides webservices ? If yes you can consume them within Actions and Custom activities.

    Hi partner,

Dynamics 365 supports for external access.

You could refer to the following links.

    1.How to connect to D365 with C#.

2.Use webapi to operate data in D365 from outside.

    Hi Dear,

    Greetings of the day!

In regards to your concern,  you will need to use rest service to connect with Dynamics 365.

Use service url in js to make operations(insert, update, retrieve, delete) in Dynamics 365. In js using ajax you can access service methods & make operations in dynamics 365 from another web application.

Rest service will work as connector between Dynamics 365 & web application.

    Reference:

    Dynamics 365 c# crud operation:

    carldesouza.com/.../

    a2zcrmstuff.blogspot.com/.../sample-crud-operations-using-c-in-mscrm.html

    Ajax:

    devnet.kentico.com/.../ajax-call-to-rest-service

I hope it helps! Let me know in case of any other concern.

    Kind Regards,

    CRMjetty

    Thanks Leo,

Still learning C# at the moment, that's why I am looking for a step by step process of achieving this.

From the console, how do I cnnect to the external web application?

    Thanks again.
