MR - limit of datamart database

Hello,

We are looking for a strategy to limit the size of Management Reporter Datamart database. Currently it is taking more than 600GB.

I have found information that limiting the number of years is possible by additional parameter IntegrationFiscalYearStar in config file (MRServiceHost.settings.config):

   

But this does not work for us. Possible that the parameter works only for MR SL and not for MR AX as I was not able to find in documentation.

Any ideas what we can do?

    Are you running the latest available MR version and have all available updates been implemented?

    Hello Ludwig,

    Yes, we are periodically checking fixes both for AX and MR and installing it.

    I see. Many thanks for the feedback.

    With this massive size and the issue that you have, I would recommend reaching out to the MS support directly.

    Adjusting the config files can be delicate especially for finance related information and the support technicians should be able to help you with that and/or provide you any other workaround possible.

    Would be great if you could keep us updated here.
