Hi All,
Whenever we are opening AX application it is opening with only one user, even we have tried with "Run as different user" able to connect but while checking "curUserId()" it is appearing only one user, we have tried clearing all cache and reset the usage data as well, this is in the new created environment, model store and DB imported from Production,
How we check where the user has got setup while opening AX.
Kindly advise us.

Each user has unique SID in Active Directory, so your database copying process and the SQL script that you ran caused this issue.
You should delete the user with duplicate SID from AX. Or fix the SIDs in UserInfo table to match the ones in your AD.
Do not delete the Admin user.

we have cross verified from SQL , there are two user with same SID in the UsreInfo table, one is my account and another is the same accoutn which we are getting while running curUserId(), can we delete this account and try.
Please advise us.

we have updated only one account for the SID, we haven't updated multiple accounts.

Can you check if the update script did change too many users with a service account and SID?

1) Yes , the wrong user is appearing in Online user which we are able see with curUserId().
2)In the Production that account has the admin role, we have restored the DB from Production into new machine ,this might be the reason it is coming as default.
3)We executed one script in DB to update the service account and SID, apart from this we haven't ran any scripts.
4)Source and target are in same domain.
I have never seen such behavior. Assuming it works correctly in your prod environment, something must be wrong in your db copying process.
I don't know how AX could log you in as someone else than your AD account.
Could you provide more information about these things:
1) Could you first double check that in Online users you see the same (wrong) user that you see with curUserId()?
2) If you look at the curUserId() user, can you think of any reason why that specific user is always used as the online user? Is it some special user in AX (such as Admin)?
3) Did you run any SQL scripts for the DB before starting to use it in the new environment?
4) Are the source and target environments in the same or different domain?

We have logged into windows with one account, but while AX opened some another account is coming, even we have tried with windows login account as a "Run as different user", still another account is getting.
