Power automate flow missing dynamic content field selection

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone can help.

On the contact entity in my customer service hub app I added a new field called "type" which produces a dropdown for the users to select the type of contact they are entering into the system. For example fireman, policeman, paramedic, nurse etc.. it is a business required field and it works perfectly.

Then I come to creating a new simple power automate flow app so when users are in the field they can create and add new contacts via a button in their mobile app. It is business required that there is data in the "type" field but when I select "add dynamic content" i only get two fields to choose from bizzarely longitude and latitude (see pic).

I know I am in the right environment as all the dynamic content fields appear under last name for example but not under type?

Please help

    Hi Matt,

In the Flow, you can just select option set value, the option set filed Label property could not be selected directly within the Dynamic content panel.

So you need ensure that create an input with number type.

Then you can select it from the add dynamic content.

    Hi Leah Ju,

Thankyou so much for taking the time to respond to my question.

Could I ask you to clarify what you mean by "In the Flow, you can just select option set value"  - I cannot see anywhere in the flow to be able to select option set value?

I did select number and this gave me the opportunity to choose number as the dynamic content but that didn't solve the problem as numbers arent collected in that field in dynamics.

I hope I am making sense and I really appreciate your help.

    Hi,

To solve your problem, you will have to use List Record and get option set value based on Label using String Map table. See below article for more details.

In Manual Trigger create Type variable as String field only then use List Record to get Optionset value for that text which we can pass directly to Dynamics CRM.
