Hello to the community,
I am trying to figure out my options in the following scenario.
We would like to hosts events where we can allow multi-attendee registration. In order to do this it seems we need to go with the OOB event form.
The first question I have is if we can somehow enable pre-fill when we send out an email to invite people for registration (as it happens with the marketing form).
And if that is possible, I am looking to modify the OOB form (using angular.js) so I can add an existing contact field in the event registration page (more particularly the company name field).
My other alternative to this scenario, would be to use a marketing form (where pre-fill and existing fields are possible), but this way, I can't find a way to activate the multi-attendee functionality.
Anyone who had already a similar issue, and know where should I look and/or provide me with some guidance or tips?
Thanks a lot,
Nikolas
Hi Nikolas,
Although there is no multi-attendee option with the Marketing Form, the result of submitting the form multiple times actually has the same effect as using multi-attendee registration directly, with separate Event Registration records.
If you insist on using the event registration page, it can achieve by adding the Custom Registration Field. Please refer to the following documentation for the steps.
Add custom event-registration fields (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Docs
(+) Form Customization in Event Management Portal - Dynamics 365 Marketing Forum Community Forum
And the prefill of the page can be only found in the following issue:
(+) Prefill the event registration form - Dynamics 365 Marketing Forum Community Forum
No effective solution has been found.
If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.
Best Regards,
Nya
