Hello Every one,

I am getting an error at Retail POS.

when I return any transaction on retail POS it shows error "Transaction does not have any item that can be returned". I have also checked "retailtransactiontable" table its field transaction type is 2 and other tables are also showing proper data at client end database. I also checked user rights.

what else I would check and why this error appearing again and again .

please help.

Good day Kemo.

i cannot remember exactly what my problem was previously. but i think you should check the transaction lines, check if there is a returned transaction ID or return qty field.

I DID FIND THE TRANSACTION BUT AM HAVING A PROBLEM IN FINDING THE ITEM IN THE RETURNABLE ITEM LIST, WHAT CAN I DO ?

Hi Kemo.

apologies for the late response. where did you find the transaction? did you look in the sql database table for the return qty field for the lines you are looking for?

also, if you are using real-time time service POS will check if the items have been returned on AX as well.

Hello Faizan,

Check RetailTransactionSalesTrans table where ReturnTransactionId='SaleTransactionId' and also check RetailTransactionSalesTrans table where TransactionId='SaleTransactionId' if both are matching, then return transaction is completed no more items pending to return.

if not, then issue comes when the return transaction is not completed successfully. Check the sale transaction in RetailTransactionSalesTrans table and see RETURNQTY is -1 for any of the line items. if yes, then mark it as 0 and try returning.
