Sales Price List Lines Showing Blank Values in Item Card (Multiple Companies)

We’ve recently noticed an issue affecting our Sales Price Lists in Business Central across two different companies within the same environment.

When viewing the Sales Prices from the Item Card, the first line under the Sales Price List shows a price, but all subsequent lines are blank. If we click on the Unit of Measure (UOM) field, it briefly displays “NULL” before refreshing and populating the prices correctly.

The Sales Price List itself (when opened directly) displays all data correctly — this issue only appears when viewed from the Item Card.

For items that have a large number of price lines, the first 20–30 lines are blank, and then the remaining lines display as expected.

Could you please investigate what’s causing this behaviour? It seems to be a display or data caching issue affecting multiple companies in our environment.

I have the same question (0)

This does not look like a data issue because the Sales Price List page displays the data correctly when opened directly. The issue seems specific to the Sales Prices view opened from the Item Card.

Since clicking the Unit of Measure field temporarily shows “NULL” and then refreshes the values, this may be a client-side rendering/cache issue, page personalization issue, or an extension conflict affecting Price List Lines in the Item context.
Please try this: Open the same page in InPrivate/Incognito mode. Clear the browser cache and test again.Check whether the issue occurs in all browsers. Remove page personalization for the affected users. Test with a different user. Test in a sandbox after disabling any third-party/custom extensions related to pricing, item card, unit of measure, or sales price lists.

Hi, this is not your fault. Not caching, not your data, not customisation. It started hitting a lot of tenants around mid October, clean ones included, so it is platform side. The blank lines only show when you open the prices from the Item Card, that view goes through the price calc buffer and the first rows come back empty till a refresh. The NULL flash on the UOM is the same thing. Open the Sales Price List directly and it reads the table straight, all fine there.

Press F5, the lines fill in. Someone already raised it with Microsoft, they confirmed and a hotfix is on the way, was on v27 too from what i saw.

For now do your price edits from the Sales Price List page itself, not the Item Card, otherwise the PK qty discount drop to EA like you said.

Glad to help - follow up if anything is unclear.

Does this problem also occur with other users or in other browsers?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

This behavior in Business Central is typically related to a UI rendering or data loading issue on the Item Card page, since the Sales Price List itself displays correctly when opened directly. When an item has a large number of price lines, the Item Card may initially show blank rows due to delayed or partial loading of the repeater control, and values only appear after user interaction (like clicking the UOM field), which triggers a refresh.

Have you tried checking if the same issue occurs in a different browser or after clearing the browser cache in your current session?

    Hope this answer helps you!
