is there a way to receive transfer order in advanced WMS warehouse and edit the received quantity ?

Hi,

Now I have a transfer order should be received in WMS warehouse and the only option I have is Licence plate receiving which useless as I can not enter the received quantity, please let me know if there is away to enter the received quanity during transfer order receing for WMS warehouse.

there is a 2 option on mobile device.

if you have created works for your transfer issue and if you have a shipment for your transfer you should use License Plate Receiving(figure 1) menu Item Type. with this function you can not edit quantity.

If you haven't used transfer issue works and you set shipped your transfer order with "Ship transfer order" button on transfer orders form(figure 2). you should use Transfer order receiving menu item(figure 3). with transfer order receiving menu item you can edit receive qty.

Hi YOYO,

In case the sending warehouse is using Works, the only option you have is to receive by licence plate. But there is a trick you can do.

1 Create a non WHS warehouse.

2 Create a Second Level of transit warehouse for your sending warehouse (Code)

3 When a transfer order is Shipped from this warehouse split it to 2 TO one to the Transit2 warehouse and the Oder from Transit2 and ship it automaticaly

4 Add a Field Related Transfer order on the header so you can find what is the new transfer order to receive.

Example

TO = WH11 => WH35 (Item A0001 * 10ea)

Result

TO = WH11 => WH11T2 (Item A0001 * 10ea) Automatic shipment

+

TO = WH11T2 => WH35 (Item A0001 * 10ea)

That way you can receive the transfert order by using the menu item (Transfer order item receiving).

As you have shipped from advance warehouse the only option you have is license plate receiving to receive the transfer order. (This was true some months ago not anymore. :)

Above has changed. Now you can use mixed license plate receiving to receive items and for quantity you want. This was added to Dynamics 365 from 7.3 version. Please check for hot fix for this addition in case you are using AX 2012

I created a transfer order for two lines and shipped it for 110 pcs for both.

In receiving warehouse I am not receiving complete license plate all at once, Instead you can use mixed license plate receiving with source document line identification as "transfer order item receiving"

You can see below I received for the transfer order for the first item and only 11 pcs. S Hipped are 110. Once you are full hit license plate complete and continue receiving partially as many time you want.
