Problem with date periods

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

When I fill shortcut 'P' (for 'period') in Posting Date as filter, I get 01.09.13..31.12.9999. Why I don't get normal period 01.09.13..30.09.13 as I expect.

    RE: Problem with date periods

Problem is probably you have not Accounting Periods for current year.

You can create this using Accounting Periods form/page (Financial Management/Setup). You need to run 'Create Year' command and fill No. of Periods and Period Length. If you expect period is one month, then setup is 12/1M.

But big problem is why you have not configured Accounting Periods for this year in september?
