Hi All ,
What is the new technology called Microsoft Flow and what is the use of this tool?
How can it be integrated with Dynamics AX 2012 or limited to D365 only ?

Hi lally,
You can find all the information you need here
powerusers.microsoft.com/.../FlowCommunity
I posted two posts on integration scenarios to AX2012/D365:
dynamicsax-fico.com/.../intercompany-transfer-of-fixed-assets-with-the-help-of-ms-flow
dynamicsax-fico.com/.../intercompany-free-text-invoicing-in-d365fo-with-ms-flow
As there is an on-prem connector you should be able to do the same for AX2012 Systems.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig,
What is this On premise connector for AX 2012? I cannot find AX in the list of available connectors:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/
Thanks
Guy
Hi Guy, I googled "Microsoft flow on premises connector" and the first result was this, please check it out: docs.microsoft.com/.../gateway-reference
I see, thanks. Does this mean that, out of the box, I can connect directly to the local AX 2012 SQL database, but not via the AOS? So I miss out on any validation and business logic which AX would normally take care of.
Yep, that's correct.
