Hi,

I am very new to AX. I don't know functional and technical.

I want to add the customized field in the form "PurchEditLines". But I don't know how to go to this form. So, I just open the form directly from MorphX editor.

I am getting the error message "Window must be called with parameters.". I know that the form need some parameter.

How to find the parent form?

Is there any help document or diagram to explain the form navigation flow?

Do I want study the functional flow first?

Hi Hari,

The purchEditLine form is used for posting PO Confirmation, Product receipts etc based on parameters passed in. So it's expecting the parameter. You can open this form by trying to confirm PO or post receipts list / product receipt from a Purchase Order.

Which field you want to add to the form and what's it for?

Here's a blog post with a simple example of dealing with Purchase order.
