Customer Voice Alerts in D365 missing Regarding field value

Here's the scenario:
1) Navigate to a custom entity (/project/) and send survey so that the survey invite's Regarding in D365 s the project record
2) Get a response and the Regarding on the response record in D365 is also the project record
3) Response triggers creation of an Alert, based on the rule that evaluates CSAT, and the Regarding on the Alert in D365 is empty
Is this a bug or otherwise explainable?
Also, how do I find my own posts in this forum so I can see the answers?? :-)
