F5 manual refresh disabled in a form in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Hello there :)

perhaps someone knows how to fix one of these issues? ;)

1. In one of our Forms F5 refresh have been diabled, but The "it" guy can't figure out how to turn it back on, off course its the form we use all the time so it becomes a strain

2. And also if i am typing a value in a textbox in a form, would it be possible to auto refresh when i "tab" to the next textbox etc?

3. if i wanted to explain to our IT staff how to make optidoc store a copy of a file in a folder, "in our setup i am forced to do a Stoneage by printing the doc and manually edit and then feed it back to the AX  form " any videos or step by step somewhere i can show the IT guy?"

    1) Maybe the Task method on the form is overridden, or the SysSetupFormRun class might be customized to trap calls to the Task method, where F5 refresh could be processed. Take a look there with your developer.

    2) modified method on the control or on the field could be changed to refresh / reread your FormDataSource.

    3) I do not understand this point, please explain it better.

    Thank you

we don't really have a dev team, could the f5 disable be a faulty configuration?

Some users can still use f5 as manually refresh it in that form where our department can't, so it seems to be user specific

In optidoc you can automate Print form, send send mail, save copies in a folder, etc, and its all done via the print dialog,

i haven't got access to the configuration side of optidoc, and i don't think our "It" department knows much about it, so a nice little step by step on how to automate a file save via optidoc

I have no idea what optidoc is, that is not Standard AX. If it is a custom solution, please try to get in touch with the ISV who has implemented it.

It could also be misconfiguration if you are using Terminal Server solutions like Citrix, where such shortcuts could possibly be blocked? Check with your system engineers.
