Can someone help to understand the release date of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 version in INDIAN market, as few of our customers are waiting to upgrades their existing NAV version to latest version?
India were not part of even NAV 2015 version and hence need to understand the roadmap from MS. As per earlier information, it was supposed to be released by beginning of 2016, however no firm update till now.

Russian localization, being the third most difficult after Brazil and India, is available. I've heard India to appear Q2 only...

Actually Indian localisation is the second most complex one after Brazil. So It would be really difficult for any of the partner to build the complete localisations on latest version of NAV without consultation with Microsoft.
NAV 2013 R2 version is already available in Indian Market however we are awaiting NAV 2016 version to be released asap in Indian market.
We need to wait till next updates from Microsoft.

Microsoft is following financial year from July onwards. It means H2 would start from Jan 2016 onwards (H1 - July 2015 to Dec 2015).
We are already in H2 and should get some updates from MS on the NAV 2016 release date for India Market.

Yea, off-course it has to be communicated by H2 of CY 2016.
It means Second half of Financial Year followed by MS 2016 i.e. Jan 2016 onwards and we are already in H2 of 2016. MS financial year has started from July 2015.
One of the event, MS has also communicated about release of NAV 2016 for IN market by March 2016..
Anyway, let us wait till some further official updates by MS
I think that it won't be available until august (at least), but there's no official ETA.
