    Hi Anjaneya,

Go to the Windows event viewer so as to see the exact error. This will help you resolve it.

Try regenerating the error. At the exact time when the error is thrown, go to the event viewer under, windows log > application, check to see the error message.

Either the user, AOSOPHC\Umoh.Ndia, does not have access to the Dynamics AX initial database, or the database does not exist.

Have you provided the rights in the SSAS as below:

    1. Open SQL Server Management Studio. In the Connect to Server window, connect to the instance of SQL Server Analysis Services that you are using.

    2. In Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, in Object Explorer, right-click your SQL Server Analysis Services instance name, and then click Properties.

    3. On the Analysis Services Properties page, in the Select a page pane, click Security. NT Users and Groups that are members of the server role will appear in a list.

    4. Click Add. In the Select Users or Groups page, go to the Enter the object names to select field and enter the name of the group you are adding to the server role. Click Check Name to verify that the account exists.

    Click Ok

Is it possible that you moved the portal for some reason, changed the DNS settings and this one user has made changes to Windows host file resulting in wrong IP beeing resolved for the EP adress? I have had a similar problems at one of my clients. It's not something that comes to mind right away.
