Try to access MSDN help for that topic first: msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh173843(v=nav.90).aspx , then related links to go deeper.

    Hi Gulf,

I'm not sure there is a standard report for production variance, so you might need to write a report yourself (NAV, Jet or any other BI tool). Actual Quantities (FG and RM) are in the Item Ledger Entry table as 'Output' and 'Consumption' type, together with values (these are calculated from the Value Entry as a flow field).

For Standard Quantities of RM Item I would look into 'Prod. Order Components' table of the related production order (that might be finished already).

Depending on the result of the report you want to get, you might need to adjust standard quantities from the 'Prod. Order Components' to reflect the difference in FG Item made, that is, the table would hold quantities required to make the amount of FG Item on the production order. If you made less/more of it - it means you have required less/more of RM Item.

    Hope that makes sense.
