Pegged Supply orders not getting scheduled when firming Planned order

Hi, when firming a planned order for an item whose BOM or formula contains pegged supply items, the pegged supply items are not getting scheduled with the main item. If you create production orders manually, and then estimate and schedule, it creates the pegged supply production. Why would it not created it when firming the planned order which brings the status directly to "Scheduled?"

Thanks

    Hi andrewlencsak,

Didd you solve the issue? I am experiencing the same issue that when firming a planned production order, that has an item with pegged supply in the formula, the sub-production order is not created.

    Hi,

On the coverage setting for your pegged supply item, is the requested production status set to scheduled?

    Hi Richard,

Have you associated a 'sub-bom' on the pegged supply item on the general tab of the BOM line?

I've left this blank before and it failed to produce sub level production

    Kind regards

    Hi Thomas,

Yes it is scheduled. Do you recommend another setting?

Hi, Have left this blank. Tried to select the active formula for the pegged supply item but with no success.

The issue seems to be that the parent batch order tries to reserve but cannot reserve the child batch order (pegged supply).

What is your explosion time fence set to on your coverage settings? This time fence may have to fall upon the required date of the parent production, to generate productions orders for the child also?

Set to 0, tried 10 but with no success :/

Is the parent production due to start within those 10 days? You will also need to re-run planning so it gets picked up as a demand
