Failed to create a session$ confirm that the user has the proper privileges to log on to Microsoft Dynamics.

Hi everyone,

I encounter the error  "Failed to create a session$ confirm that the user has the proper privileges to log on to Microsoft Dynamics." when finished database synchronization in AX. My ax version is AX 2012 R2.  Anybody can help ?

    I am experiencing the same issue.  Error is thrown after running a DB sync in AX2012 R2 RTM.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    I resolved this issue on my AX 2012 R2 instance using the Contoso Demo DB by updating any records on the dbo.userinfo table that had a networkalias field = 'administrator'.  There were 5 or 6 records instead of the one which we are used to seeing on pre-R2 DBs.  Looks like this has to do with partitioning.  I am now able to sync DB successfully after updating to a new user on my test domain.

    Hi Mikael,

    Thanks for you reply. I did two kinds of testing.

    1. I update all records wtih networkalias field = 'administrator'. It works.

    2. I find another demo data database and delete all 'administrator' account but my testing domain. Then I

    sync the db and still have the issue.

    Do you have any idea?
