Sending test email with the free trial instance

Hi,

I am testing Microsoft Dynamics Customer Insight with the free trial. I have created my real-time marketing email successfully.

I am trying to send a test email or even the real email but I get a message saying : From email: The from address for this message uses a domain that isn't authenticated for your organization. This can significantly lower message deliverability.

I have read that By default there is a dynamics domain set up but don't seem to find it.

Can somebody please help ?

I read that there is also a "default authenticated domain". Is it real ? I don't seem to find it.

Hi Rosine,

Correct, to maximise message deliverability it is advised that you authenticate the domain that your messages are being sent from.

To authenticate a domain, you need to navigate to the settings area as below, and then click on +New to configure a new domain.

The Microsoft documentation that walks you through the steps to configure a new domain can be found here:

Please note you will need access to your domain's DNS control panel to be able to add new records as you walk through the authentication process.
