    Hi,

Here is my opinion on the same:

SSRS----- This should be used for all documents shared externally e.g. Customer Invoice, Credit note, Purchase order etc...

Embedded Power BI-- This should be used for all Business analytics activities with more visualization and decision based analytics, all the standard reports can be edited and also new reports can be added as per requirement by adding more entity store

PowerBI.com--- If data is residing in D365 then this will not be require because all the reports can be served using Embdded Power BI, this should be used when you want to combine two different data sources for business analytics

Workspace---- This is used for user experience for operational activities by giving quick access to all menu items which are require for performing day to day transactions

    Hi Yvonne,

Please check out the links that Martin and Rahul shared.

Personally, I see that people are increasingly moving away from old / printed SSRS reports unless legally required and move to more flexible and interactive reporting tools, such as Power BI and the workspaces.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    +1 Ludwig

Users need more self service insights and analytics and just replying on out of box may not be sufficient

    Good morning Yvonne,

Do you need any other information about reporting tools that has not already been provided?

Would be great if you could keep us informed whether some additional help from the community is required.

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig
