Replicating AX cube results in SQL

Hi,

I am trying to replicate some Sales Cube results using T-SQL.

Is there any documentation as to what tables the Cube is built and how it all joins together?

Thanks

    Hello Russell15,

There is some high level reference available here:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../sales-cube-salescube-for-microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012-r2-and-r3

It does not show you details but gives you an idea what is inside.

Do you have a demo machine available where you can deploy and run the cube?

Then you can have a look at the detailed construction of the cube yourself.

Another option that might help also help at least a bit are the perspectives in the AX2012 AOT. When you open the node, you will find a reference to the different cubes and can at least see the tables/view it is build upon.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Russell15,

There is no documentation apart from objects in Dynamics AX itself. You can view which tables are included under the Perspectives node of the AOT.
