Hello Guys,

I want to manage release product's product to site wise but in Ax 2012 R3 i can't find anything that i can do this task.

Actually I have 10 sites which have dynamics and i want to show only products which is related to that site only and some products which used at multiple site.

    Hi Harnish,

I don't know a standard feature that would allow you releasing products by site only.

Guess you have to modify AX if you want to achieve that.

    Best regards

    Ludwig

    Hi Harnish,

Please have a look at the site specific order setting feature in the released products, and check stop for specific site.

Its a common request for different Lines of Business - maybe suggest it on Ideas site.

Consider use of XDS to do this via security - if you have / or can add a site identifying field - many to choose from

if its just for convenience then use a filter and save the filter.

There are many potential fields and reports- and I don't know how many sites you have, so think about at what level you  set the security filters e.g.by tiem or category or BYR group etc, and the possible  future maintenance and how often the rules change, and if your filter logic is complex, then test the impact on performance before going live.

You can also map items by warehouse e.g. for cycle counting.

You can manage that with some code behind doing the filtering.

Add site as a filter criteria field.

You can make a join to InventSum and InventDim tables, filter based on site (in the code)

I guess, this is the easiest and quickest option.
