I have received a request to create a view in Dynamics CRM showing the users their open Leads that were 'created' this year OR were 'last contacted' this year OR have a related activity record that was created this year. Sadly it seems the system is unable to include a related entity in an OR group in an Advanced Find.
Is there another way of a creating a view with this criteria?

Unfortunately, you won't be able to build that view using Advanced Find. But there are plugins like View Editor/FetchXml Builder that can help you build the view you want.
Hi,
You can create rollup field to store the date created value from related entity to Leads. Now use this field in your advanced find query.

Also, you forgot to add owner condition to fetch leads which are open for specific user.
a33ik thank you for your reply. I saw some older threads suggesting the FetchXml but wasn't sure if things might have changed. I will check it out and see what it can do. Thanks again
