Hi,

I have created a new MS world document using office integration add ins to D365. I added the form to my list of office integration templates (screenshot below).

When  I go to purchase order , I expect to be bale to see the option export to Word, and then 'PO form1 ' to be an option. I don't see it there... is it because the rootdataentity is 'PurchPurchaseOrderLineEntity'?

    Hi Sam Khawaja,

    Yes, Root data entity from the document template should match to the data source name on the form, otherwise you wont see the template under Open in MS office.

    You can create a template for PO header (PurchaseOrderHeaderV2) as "Fields" and then link lines to it, like below:

    In this case the template will become available.

    When an entity has the same root datasource (table) as a form, it will be added as an option in the Open in Excel section of the Open in Microsoft Office menu. This is same to "Open in Word".
