The ATP quantity is calculated by using the "cumulative ATP with look-ahead" method.
ATP is calculated by using the following formula:
ATP = ATP for the previous period + Receipts for the current period – Issues for the current period – Net issue quantity for each future period until the period when the sum of receipts for all future periods, up to and including the future period, exceeds the sum of issues up to and including the future period.
ATP + Issue margin delivery alternatives are calculated as for the ATP method, but the issue margin is included in the calculation.
There are 3 possible places it could get it.
1. From the default coverage group set on the mater planning parameter
2. from the coverage group setup on the released item
3. from the coverage group set on the item coverage related to the released item. Remember it will search to see up item coverage, released item coverage group then default coverage group.
