Master Planning at all Item level and specific item on Update - Master Scheduling

Hello Gurus,

Master planning was working ok and we're trying to create planned transfers between warehouses based on demand.

When we run master planning at the module level for specific item, it does not created planned orders. However, when we run update-Master scheduling on Item Net Requirements form, it seems to work fine.

All the configurations or setting seem to be ok, can I please know if you have seen this behavior earlier and I checked my coverage groups, plans etc. nothing ordinary and planned PO's are working great.

It is not recommended to be run for specific items, there could be inter-dependencies that are filtered out.

To answer the question properly we would need to understand the demand profile and structures in place etc. Different logic is called depending upon where you run MRP from, and the results depend upon the level and the demand. So where exactly you are running it from is important.
