Detaild description over COGS

Is there any detailed description over the way COGS (and inventory costs in general) are calculated in AX 2012, for the different inventory value models. I mean, how is item counting, invent adjustment, profit and loss journals, parameters like "Include physical value", "Financial inventory" on Storage dimension group and so on affect the calculation and valuation?

Regards,

Henrik

Yes of course, we are using FIFO. I'll take a look at the documents, thanks.

    Hello Henrik,

The answer to your question depends on the costing method (FIFO, LIFO, etc.) that you use.

You can find some useful information in the following websites/whitepapers/documents that should help answering your question.
