Hi All,

I'm using D365 customer engagement version 9.0. I try to setup connection between D365 and the email server via SMTP to send out email. However, I got the error as the below:

ActivityId: 24c8dbd6-333b-4fe5-aeb7-cf43cd5ed031
>Error : System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Failure sending mail. ---> System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.
at System.Net.Mail.SmtpConnection.ConnectAndHandshakeAsyncResult.End(IAsyncResult result)
at System.Net.Mail.SmtpTransport.EndGetConnection(IAsyncResult result)
at System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient.ConnectCallback(IAsyncResult result)
--- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Who can help me how to resolve this.

Thank advanced

VanDo

More then likely a certificate issue with self signed or is expired. try the troubleshooting tips from this post. www.admin-enclave.com/.../353-resolved-the-remote-certificate-is-invalid-according-to-the-validation-procedure.html
