I also noticed, when you're terminating an employee, if you set a future date, the balances are visible until you reach that date. So if you back-date a termination the leave balances will disappear. The unenrolment parameter above will also depend on how the accrual is setup, see this help doc: docs.microsoft.com/.../hr-leave-and-absence-plans

    Hi Claire,

There's a setting in leave and absence parameters for the balance calculation, if it's set as below then you'll see the balance as of the current day. Also depends on when your accrual is taking place, at the beginning or end of the accrual period.

On un-enrolment it will depend on this setting in the absence plan:

    RE: leaver accrued leave

I'm having the same problem. When we terminate an employee their leave accrual disappears, so you do not know how much leave they had accrued at the date of leaving and if they have a positive or negative balance. I have tried to see what is accrued at a particular date but the system doesn't tell me. This is something that is needed in the system so I'm surprised it isn't there, or can you advise where to look to check our parameters are set correctly? Thanks

    Hi Raj,

I am not sure what you meant by "I am looking at this from doing a leaver."

If it means you are looking it as an employee who wants to check the Leave accrued by the organization on last date, they can check from Employee self service.

In case you want to know the leave balance for a future date, you may go to balances tab and fill 'As at date' and Apply.

System will show you Available balance as on that date.

    Hi Raj,

I understand you want to know the leave balance available till date as mentioned 'leave accrued by a leaver to date'.

You may go to the worker form, 'Leave' tab and click on Manage leave - View time off

    pastedimage1625330477899v2.png

Here, go to 'Balances' tab, Current balance will show you the leave balance available till date

Also, when an employee, Request time off, here you can find the Available balance till date.

I hope this answers your query.
