Please could you help me how to export a merged word document from NAV 2013? Eg if we have 20 templates set up with merged fields and just go to a contact, choose a template and it opens the merged word document. I realise there is something similar through interactions but a) it is timeconsuming, b) you have to have an interaction code for every template and c)it imports the document into the interaction which is unnecessary clogging the database! thank you

I mean if we had say 20 standard letters that we send to customers on different occasions, eg someone calls for info about a specific product so we send the appropriate letter. We could have them mostly set up as MS Word templates, but the name, address etc would need merging in each time.

How can I go to a contact then choose a letter to send them and it merges their details in? - without going through interactions for the above reasons.
